Thanks for asking! I hadn't made a new update, I wanted to wait until Ken got home and could tell me everything. Fred has an ulcerated large intestine. He was in the hospital for about a week when we found him. He didn't have any idea that anyone was looking for him. The lady (some friend of his) was supposed to call his dad when he was admitted to the hospital, but she obviously dropped the ball.
He was released yesterday and Ken said that he was still in pretty bad shape. He is supposed to go back to the dr later this week for a follow up. Ken said that this is something that Fred has had before, but this time, he just let it go to far before he went to the dr and ended up really sick from it. (I reckon it bleeds just like a stomach ulcer?). I think Fred was more embarassed than anything. He didn't know we were all looking for him, he didn't know his dad was afraid, and he sure didn't want me to know he was having bottom half problems:o .
Thanks again for all of the prayers and the pd! I was amazed at the pm's and emails that I got from this board! Before we found him, we had several people email me and tell me that they either lived in his town or the next town over and would be more than happy to get out on foot and look for him! We even found one lady that lived less than 4 miles from his house. I just find that so incredible! It shows you how little the world really is.
