View Full Version : What to pack??? and when to start!

We leave Friday for half of the drive down....we will arrive this Sat and stay until next Sat. when we will venture up the coastline heading back north!

How much to pack????

The weather looks like 90's during the day and high 60's at night...

short, shorts, and swimsuits???

all of the above, plus i would add at least one pair of the warmer clothes. like jeans and a sweatshirt. if it doesnt hit the high at night you'll wish you had those warmer clothes. and if its hotter then hell the whole week then you just packed something you didnt need. better to have those jeans and not need them then to freeze your pixie dust off.

I ALWAYS TAKE TOO MUCH, BUT BETTER TOHAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH THAN TOO LITTLE!!! :flower:

"Better to have too much than too little"...That's what I always tell my DH but he doesn't seem to get it!! He just complains about all the suitcases he has to lug!! :confused3 We have wheeled luggage so what's there to complain about?!! :rotfl:

My problem is that I don't know what I want to wear til that morning, so I keep telling DH that I have to pack enough so I have a choice.. Sounds good anyhow..I try to make outfits that I can mix and match..

I also pack way too much. I always say that it is better to be safe than sorry. The evenings can get a little chilly sometimes.

How many shorts and tops for a 10 day trip...I do plan on washing one day while sunning and swimming at the pool....
