OK, the only time left available for the date we have in mind is at 10:00 am. We have discussed having a luncheon reception after the wedding, then allowing everyone to run free during the day and meeting back at Epcot for an ROE dessert reception followed by dancing somewhere in the Boardwalk area. Has anyone ever split their wedding day like this?

Where is a good place for dancing and drinks in the boardwalk area (Approx 50 guests)? The coordinator suggested the Living Seas, but I don't think it is very suitable for dancing. She also suggested setting up a dance floor with a DJ outside with our dessert reception, but my DF is worried about the weather and the heat (first week of September). Any suggestions or advice?

We are planning to do this as well. I am stuck for a location around EPCOT. There is a place in spaceship earth, but I am not sure how big it really is. The other option is Atlantic Dance Hall. PM with your email address and I will send you some of the pictures that I have.

not splitting our day like that but as for receptions in the boardwalk area there is atlantic dance at bwi (which has a great fun dance/drink vibe because its normally just that), the bwi conference center, ariels at the beach club, the yc conference center, american rotunda at the american adventure pavilion at epcot, outdoor italy isola at epcot's italy pavilion, china pavilion at epcot and the living seas at epcot fw.

check out http://www.yourfairytale.com/locations.html there is a link for most of the reception offerings, along with some useful info & photos.

best of luck.

my only suggestion with a split up day like that is to definetly offer guest transporation, so its easier for everyone to get from point a (their resort) to b (your ceremony venue), b to c (your reception venue), c to a, then a to d (dessert party), etc.

We are getting married in Oct. at the boardwalk at 11 AM and having dinner at Ohana's at 6PM. People will prob grab a bite to eat b/f the wedding then after (we are assuming by 130) people can go to the pool, get lunch, shop...until dinner. We even though about getting some food trays sent to our room (BW villas) and inviting everyone over , but now are thinking that may bea bad idea if we wnt to unwind and relax.

There are tons of places around the boardwalk for people to get drinks/ snack and they can always walk over and go shop at the boardwalk stores.

Go to Deb's website for Maps and pricing...this is by far one of the most informative sites out there.
