Past Disney Brides -

Did you get your make-up done by Disney? Did they use your make-up or did they bring their own?

I'm bringing mine only because I get skeeved using someone else's makeup. I don't think that's very santitary.

Unless they have single use portions, or something like that. :confused3

I had mine done for both the wedding and our MK photo shoot by Disney Cosm. They were fantastic, they use MAC cosmetics...great stuff. Don't be skeeved out, they use clean new brushes and mix everything themselves. I recommend getting a trial done if you have the time. I did and was glad because there were a few things I asked her to change (I am an artist, color is my thing!) I was glad to have my maids see me before as well for their input and comments and suggestions.

Yeah, I am picky and skeeve easily too, but they were great and clean. My cousin did our hair (she was a bridesmaid) and works with makeup artists all the time, she too said they were very professional.

i had disney do my hair and make up. they did a beautiful job and are such nice people. i'm sure they would have no problem using your make up instead of theirs.

Hi! Disney Cosmo did my hair and makeup and did a great job! They clean all of their brushes, so I wouldn't worry. They use MAC (which I LOVE). Like another poster said, they are really great people, and if you have your own makup, I am SURE they would use it! :)

this is a silly question....can you get the hair and makeup done, even if you aren't getting married at WDW? Those pictures are beautiful. I want to cry!
We just can't afford the Disney wedding, too expensive.

I used them for my VR and MK session. Like the others have said, they mix everything for you, and use clean brushes. If I'm not mistaken, they used disposable lip color brushes.

Sure you can. One of the ladies told me, she even has "regulars" that have booked them for anniversary dinners, conventions, etc. HTH!

On a quick side note...a dumb concern but they do your hair/makeup bright and early--do they give you a lipstick and such for touch up or are you on your own for touch ups?? Or do they at least let you buy touch up stuff?

Disney cosmo is wonderful. They gave us each two lip brushes w/ lip stick on then in plastic covers to take with you. Nothing else will need touching up. They use a really good sealer.

Whats the phone # to call and set up and appt.? I want to get my hair and makeup done prior to our honeymoon photo session! We are getting married on the beach in Palm Beach, WDW way too expensive! I would love to have some beautiful photos from WDW though!

i had them do my hair for my wedding (did my own makeup) and i wasn't a disney bride! we were married off-site...she came to the hotel room (i chased DH out until i was ready) very early in the morning and did my hair in about an hour and a half or so. pretty quick! (sorry about the picture quality but it's the only one i have available to me here at work...)
