Not sure if this appropriate to post here, if not, please delete!

I got this from another board I spend way too much time on! Thought I would share it here since I'm spending a lot of time here lately, too, and have picked up some great ideas (got the Strawberrry Shortcake stuff!). The items change every 15 minutes. Several people on that board have ordered and received items without a problem. The pendants are small (think dime size) but I think would make really nice gifts for kids or teens. I ordered a ring for my daughter for her birthday next month. Got a shipping notice the next day (yesterday). Now I'm waiting and watching for a pair of amethyst earrings to come up. It is very addicting waiting to see what the next item is!

I have also bought many items from this place. Its really not free if you think about it. It only cost them $.50 to ship it and how much do you think the packaging cost. Its still a good deal but its not FREE!

There was a thread on this last week and the next day it was gone. Not sure why.

I did look through a few pages before posting and didn't see anything about it, guess that's why!

Maybe mine will be then, too! I thought for once I had something to share instead of take! It's not really free, given the s&h, but still a decent deal. I'm sure they still make money on it, and probably plenty of it, or it would not be there! I'm planning getting stuff for my nieces, daughter's friends birthdays, whatever. I usually spend about $15 on a gift, so I figure it to be a savings to me!

I ended up buying three pieces and would love to buy more but I am waiting to see them in person first. Everyone on the other thread said they were nice but small also. Can't beat the price.

I got my first piece yesterday. It is a square cut Peridot pendant. It is dainty but VERY good detail. The cut on the stone is gorgeous! I'm waiting on another pendant and two rings. :cool1: My daughter is such a girlie girl and the size of this pendant is perfect for her. :teeth:

I saw the post last week and ordered a ring. Got it last night. Looks wonderful. I saw that the postage was $0.49 too. Guess, 'handling' is $5.50, hehe. I can live with that. For the price, its not a bad deal. Also ordered a pendant & chain over the weekend so we'll see how that goes.

I believe the other thread may have been deleted because the link, like the one above, was an affiliate link. The OP earns a commission every time someone uses that link to access the site and then places an order. Or it could be that the mods simply consider this sort of post entirely OT, as it has very little to do with actually planning your Disney vacation.

Any ways, if instead of posting an affiliate link (for their own potential profit) -- someone would instead simply post the link to the site as http://silverjewelryclub.com -- maybe the mods would be more inclined to allow us to keep one of these threads. Just a thought. The OP here might even choose to go back and edit their own post to remove their affiliate link?

It really is nice sterling and gemstone jewelry, for the price. I have received one ring thus far -- it is well made and attractive, with good clarity and color depth of the stone. And to keep this Dis related, SilverJewelryClub.com frequently offers peridot/green gemstone items in assorted styles. So for those who would like to wear a bit of the 'lime green' while at WDW, but are too conservative to consider clothing in that color, perhaps adding a bit of green sparkle in the form of jewelry might be more to your taste. It's inexpensive and 'budget friendly' too.

You are absolutely right Matt'sMom - that is why the other thread is gone. ::yes:: Referral Links or requests for referrals are NOT permitted on the DIS.

Has anyone paid by credit card? I use Paypal and have had no problems, but my friend wants to order and does not want to start a Paypal account. Do you think she should give them her cc #?

Elliemae - I ordered using my CC. Two orders so far. Received the first and the second should be here in a day or two. I always check up on my CC account online. So far, no problems :flower: I would definately use a CC instead of a check/debit card though until you are comfortable with who you are buying from.
