I just bought a nice holder for a bottle of water attached to a carabiena (I know this is not even close to the correct spelling....sorry) clip (the kind used in mountain climbing) at DICKS sporting goods. DS has a wheelchair and this will clip nicely to it for a bottle of water. It will also clip to a backpack, diaperbag or beltloop. The cost was $4.98. I am going to go back and buy another .They were at the cash registers. I dont like having a bottle of water hanging around my neck.....Here is the link to the site that makes the clip. They have many kinds I bought the Bottle Bandit. You can just go to www.bisondesigns.com
and look under Water accessories.

Do you have a Brita water bottle? Would this work with it or does it need some sort of a water bottle lip to go around? TIA :)
It does look really neat!

Good tip. Thanks.
I read a tip that said to get an insulated bottle so that you don't have to deal with condensation. Has anybody seen a good one? I'd like one that would clip onto my fanny pack belt.
Thanks,
Karen

I saw a nice neoprene insulated holder with a shoulder strap and also a smaller velcro strap (you could strap it to your belt, bag etc) at CVS for $5.99 (regular price) I am waiting for it to go on sale before I buy it.

I found some last night at Wal-Mart at the front of the store by the books. They are really for kids, with Spiderman, Batman, etc. on them. The outer cover has a snap to connect it to a belt or belt loop. They were only $1, so I'm not sure how well they will work. They aren't that big, which is OK by me. I'd rather fill up more often that carry a large bottle.
