Question about DDE and AP

Does anyone know if you can buy the DDE when you are at WDW? I have read that you can only order by phone and they mail you the card. However, we are planning on getting our APs when we arrive in July and would like to use the DDE while we are there. Any advice?

I believe you can call and order the DDE while at WDW and they can leave a letter for you to pick up at Guest Services at Epcot that will be good in lieu of your card. However, that is pretty inconvenient, esp. as DDE is only open Mon. through Fri. and you may arrive on Sat. or Sun.

You could do as I did, order your APs now online ($3 to ship to you) and then when you receive the vouchers, call to order your DDE. You still may not receive the actual cards before your trip, but will receive your letter at home in plenty of time.

You have to order the DDE via telephone. Give them a call ahead of time to see if you can order it when you get there.

AllEarsNet.com - DDE (http://allearsnet.com/din/dde.htm) has a really good explanation of how it works and a list of the participating restaurants. We used a combination of vouchers and DDE on our last trip. The DDE was very easy to use and we had not problems with it.
