Ya know that $228 airfare I found on Orbitz last week?? GONE! It's up to $284 now. Guess you have to grab it when you find it huh??

It's so hard to guess when to buy. Sorry you didn't have good luck. Maybe it'll come back down? After you buy, you almost don't want to check. I bought from Orbitz at $198 and now that ticket is $260. I was going to wait, but had earlier told myself that at $200 or lower, I'd buy. Good luck yet!

Airfare sales are very fickle. My guess is that unless your trip is less than one month away, the low fares will come back.

what month are you traveling? remember they only sell so many seats at the lower price then it goes up to the next class. and then once those are sold it goes up again. when they detail the flights and they see how many seats they have they do drop alot of them back down again. they have been having all kinds of fare wars going on and I think its very very possible that yours will go down again. keep checking for some fares were put into the computer over the weekend. and then check fares during the week especially tues/wed and into thursday.

oh god yes it will! for travel last dec first I bought our tkts on oct 15th!

I too, lost out on tickets last week.We were away, but I should have snatched them when I saw them. Had r/t from PHL for $162. Now there $189, but not my choice in schedule. Anyway, Should I grab them now(our trip starts weekend after Thanksgiving) just in case they sell out on that particular weekend? Or should I hold out another week or so? And could someone tell me exactly what the vouchers are that USAIR gives out. Are they for in case you see a cheaper flight later on?
