A poll yesterday on first dates

Did you hear yesterday that results from some 'nationwide' poll said that men spent a total of £200 on a first date!!! (where are these men?? I want one) and women spent £90 - £100 just on clothes for a first date..
WOW!! I personally cant remember the last time I had a date at all but theres no way I'd ever spend that much, Crikey its almost the price of Disney tickets! :rolleyes:

Chap at work just spent at least £600 on his first date....although $495 of that was the joining fee for the dating agency the guy signed up to, so maybe that doesnt count.
He must be wondering if he's done the right thing now though, as his first "date" has told him he's not her type.
