Does anyone know what the English translation of "Please stand clear of the doors" is on the Monorail? I would like to know exactly what the Spanish to English translation is please. Thanks!

Por favor mantenganse alejados de las puertas...
As near as I remember from my 7 years of Spanish this is:
por favor = please
mantenganse = maintain or keep yourself
alejados = away from, clear of
las puertas = the doors
Hope I am right! ;)

that sure sounds right--we've been listening to a .wav file with the Spanish, trying to figure it out.
Thanks!

I believe that is correct. Someone here has it as their signature line....can't remember who it is.

I remembered, too, that a poster here on the DIS has the Spanish phrase for the monorail in their signature ... oh yes, I remember now - it is Gcurling. Here is the phrase right from their signiture:
Por favor mantengan se alejado de las puertas
I also love hearing that phrase! :) :)
Hope this helps!

This site has tons of WDW sounds including most of the Monorail traks. My son loves the Pirates of the Carribean (smiles all the time);)

My favorite is "This here's the wildest ride in the west!"
