AP Rates / Summer Packages

Can anyone tell me which historically comes out first - the AP rates or the summer room only discounts? Just trying to figure out if it's worth it to get an AP since we are only going to WDW for 7 days...

You can learn all you ever wanted to know about how to save money on a Disney vacation. There is also a a comparision chart that will help you to see the break even point for buying an annual pass.
