My deal of the day! (Children's Place)

The Children's Place is not just for kids-

I was in there because they had a $.99 on sweaters sale and I wanted to see if they had anything for my baby cousin which they didnt BUT they had those pouch rain coat things for $.48 yes, less than $.50 each. They are the anoraks. They had a pink flowered one in an XL and a blue one in a MD but the rest were smalls and extra smalls. The XL fits me except the sleaves are a half inch too short but I can deal with it. It beats the plastic dollar store ones and it will be cute. They are usually $12.50 each :cool1:

Wow! What a great deal!!! Did they have much stuff left? I'm wondering if it's worth heading out to ours. Do you know how long the sale was going to be?

They had a ton of stuff left but it is also one of the bigger stores. There were some great fleece pants and jacket sets in lots of different colors that I really liked. Too bad they didnt have any 2T left (estimated size of my cousin next winter)

We have a few near us. Haven't been very recently, but the selections vary widely. IT is funny how one item sells out at one store, but not at another. I've had the same experience with local Kohl's stores too. Usually department stores will ship an item from another store, or at least call other stores to see if they have it, at no expense, so it may be worth asking a salesperson.
