Christmas prices ewr to mco????Airfare experts help please

Is 260 and OK price from Newark to Orlando at Christmas time? Does anyone think it will go down?

$260 is pretty expensive any time of year. The airline sales for December won't happen for another month or two, so I would wait it out. Try to fly on days when the discount fares are not blacked out (usually the 2-3 days immediately before and after Christmas.)

Things are so crazy this year it's hard to tell what will happen. That is a pretty good price....could be much higher. You don't want to fool around too much waiting for tickets since many NY area folks have family in FL or are heading down for the winter and book and fill these flights every year. The actual dates you are flying can have a big effect. Are you going down 12/21 or later and coming back 1/1? Those are the holiday flight times.

historically sales for xmas time have not come out until late oct or nov. most of the sales will go until dec 15th or at latest 20th. there is a war starting now with air so it is possible for xmas time to come out now! they ahve surprised me with some of the sales they have had in the past 2 mths. they are even dropping the sat night stay on some fares. the best I can tell you right now is to check it a couple of times a day since its changing faster than the gas prices!
