We went to Universal Studios and IOA last year, and pretty much hit everything over the course of several mornings. We are planning on going again this summer, and were wondering what's new at Universal?

A look at their web site seems to indicate that "Fear Factor" might be the only new thing this year?

Thanks for any feedback you can provide! :)

Yea FF is new. Nick Live closed down. They were having a mardi gras parade while we were there. Revenge of the Mummy is pretty new it replaced Kongfrontation. I think thats it, not sure though :)

Yeah that is about it besides the slight changes to some rides like painting the walls and re-skinning some animatronics. Especially on JPRA. All the rides are still pretty much the same though. Nothing major besides FF Nick and ROTM which I think you would know about if you went last summer.

Thank you for the replies. That's pretty much what I thought when I went to the web site. I'm thinking that surely they would make a big deal on the site if anything new, but really not much there.

With Disney adding a few new attractions, it looks like the ball is in Universal's court!

Thanks again for the info. :)

BGT has the spotlight with their new dive machine called Sheikra.
It's about a 1.5 hour drive, 75 miles. I'll be driving over early in the morning.

Are you going to get a video of it rob? That would be awesome. Also, with Universal just opening a new attraction (ROTM) recently they may not have a new ride for a few more years. I hope that they do, but look how long it took for ROTM.

I've heard great things about Sheikra too...and plan on hitting BGT this trip as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about US/IOA. I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't some new wrinkle that I would otherwise have missed. :)
