Any FAN club members booking rooms?

My husband has a FAN club number via his employer. On the web site it appears you can book 2 rooms (but have to make separate reservations) and when I e-mailed Universal, they said I should be able to book 2 rooms if the discount is available. (1 for us and 1 for two brothers-in-law). Husband called Universal this morning and they said you cannot book 2 rooms at the FAN club rate unless the 2nd room is for children only.
Has anyone done this before or do I need to book one room with FAN club discount and one room with no discount/AAA/Loews etc.?

Book the 2nd room using the best discount. There is no name on the fan club cards. Check-in one at a time a pass the card.

is the fan club rate better than AAA? i found that AAA offered a lower price...

Actually there are no fan club "cards" anymore. We were told that they are going to a paperless system. They said you may have to give employer information but we weren't asked for any at the time of making the reservations - possibly at check-in. I found the FAN club to be cheaper in that it gave us 10% off the tickets as well as the room.
