We are traveling down to the Tampa Bay area the first of June and were looking for a great seafood restaurant. We'd really prefer not to go to the "white tablecloth type" restaurant, but more of the not-so-fancy but good restaurant. Maybe even a restaurant that had a great bay view. Last summer when we were there, we went to Sculley's and that was wonderful. They have great fried grouper. We wanted to try somewhere different this year. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. :sunny:

We always enjoy Shells. Very basic decor, good prices, and excellent food. At the beach, we always went to Leverocks, but I understand they have converted to a Shells now also. Shells has a website for locations.

We ate at Frenchy's on St. Pete beach. The beach is directly across the street. I have family in that area and from what I hear we accidently picked a really good place. Prices weren't bad and they had daily specials. It is an open air type restaurant. It was very nice.
