View Full Version : Any AP Holders NOT get the email?!

Ok, here is my story
- I am an AP holder, have been almost continously since 1994
- stay at least 20 nights/year at WDW, usually in 6+ visits a year, at a variety of WDW resorts
- every time I book, they reconfirm my email address and spelling of my name, since it's complicated
I have NEVER rec'd a pin code, although a CM once said that I have several expired ones.
I did NOT receive any email today about the AP rates. Anyone else in my shoes? I know that I can still get the rate, but am concerned if I am not getting any email at all from the mouse!

No I didnt get an email either!!! I actually didnt even know the codes came out until 9:00 tonight. I am so glad that I got my room and rate!!!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

I believe that you have to login to the passholder section of disneyworld.com, and somewhere on there is where you can choose to receive special offers to passholders via email. At least that's what I remember doing. Owning an AP and CRO having your email address alone will not get you the emails.

I didn't get an email here, either -- despite numerous WDW visits, DCL trip, and also using the passholder log-in on the Disney World website (which, by the way, was still not including information about the new rates as of this afternoon).
Since the summer rates were released on the first Wednesday in May last year, I called this morning at 7:00 a.m. (Of course, "AP Day" could have easily been tomorrow or next week.) With five resort reservations, I didn't want to miss it!

I did not get an email. When I log onto the passholder site, I can't even find a spot to enter your email for getting emails. (If that made any sense).

I've never gotten a passholder email and I gave my email address when I originally purchased my AP.

I just activated my AP on 4/16, and when we got back last week, registered on the website. I got the e-mail this morning, so I'm assuming I did something right.
Here's what I did:
-Log into the passholder portion of disneyworld.com
-Click on "Pass Benefits & Discounts" from the menu on the left
-Under "Passholder Information Resources" there will be a hyperlink to "register on disneyworld.com to receive special passholder e-mails"
-If you click on it, it takes you to the page to either register or log in to your existing account
-Now, nothing happens after you log in, it just sends you back to the "Pass Benefits & Discounts" page, but it seems to work!

I've never logged onto the passholder section of the website, but I did get the email to both my hotmail addresses this morning.

I did check the box to receive special email promotions on the website. Oh well. I still got my Poly/WL Ap rates! :cool1:

Yes...I got the one day "advance notice of Disney Resort Savings" for current AP holders e-mail...but...not until 10:30 am on May 4th. By then everyone on the DIS already new.

Yes, I've been enjoying the subject lines in the spam folder for several months now!!! :rotfl:
But nothing from Disney, unless they want to confirm my password, offer me credit at high rates, or sell me things I don't want!!!

Didn't get the email. I am registered on the site. At least I got the Mickey Moniter yesterday and it was in there.

I'm relatively new to the DIS and haven't heard of the Mickey Monitor - would you tell me what it is and where to find or sign up for it? Or is it something that AP holders alone get ?

Have never rec'd any email re: AP discounts. My husb has an AP too, and he's never rec'd one either.
I'm an AP holder, registered on the site and every time I call Disney they confirm my e-mail address. No e-mail for me either! If it wasn't for the DIS, I would have missed the AP rates! :wizard:
My mom gets the e-mail though and forwards it to me. By the time I got it, I had already booked our AP rate. :teeth:

This is the 6th time we bought AP and this is the FIRST time we received an email. Even though we are not going until Dec, thanks Mickey for sending it to us!!! :love:

I received the email and have in the past. I've also been getting the Mickey Monitor for the past several years. However we won't be going again after our June trip at least not until next year.
I haven't received a post card in the past several years - I got one once when they opened AKL but couldn't use it. I just got an email pin code for DL but it expires July 2 and we can't go by then as we're going to WDW in June.

I didn't get one, I've received emails announcing rates in the past but not this time but I always use FL rates though I am an AP holder. Since they are always the same price why not save the AP rates for someone that isn't offered FL rates. Then again my next trip is not til Sept (the busiest time of the year. HEHE)

Our household owns three aps and we did not receive any email about the ap rates. Doesn't make me happy that's for sure!

I didn't get an email from disney but I do get email updates with codes, etc, through mousesavers.com. as soon as the codes are available.

same here ... I have been a pass holder for years now & didn't get an email for the recent promo. I am registered with the web site & a FL resident & DDE member as well. I did get my Mickey Monitor in the mail this week.

I discovered yesterday that although I personally don't get the e-mail, my parents get MY e-mail. I'm the only passholder. My father and I share the same and first last name, so this might be why this has occured... Still, it is quite strange... :confused3 :)
