maclaren stroller question...

Sorry about another stroller question. I did a search on this thread and could not find the answer to my question.

It is about the Maclaren Triumph 2004 and 2005. Can any one tell me if the 2005 also goes up to 55 lbs? My 2004 says that it goes up to 55 lb but all I can find for the 2005 is up 30 or 33lbs. Does any one know for sure? I can not imagine that the 2004 would hold more.

My DS will be turning 3 in July and I am trying to find something that will last him at least a year. He is 35lbs now. I picked up the 2004 at the store today and he fits perfect in it then I came home and seen online that the 2005 was selling for the same price so I orderd it and then thought about the weight issue.
Any thoughts?? Thanks!

I believe that all of the 2005 Maclarens are okay'd for up to 55lbs.

Thanks for the reply. I was not sure which one to go with. I like the looks of the 2005 more than that of the 2004. Since the weight limit is not an issue I will go with the 2005. :earboy2:

The 2005 definately goes to 55 lbs. We looked at one last night at babies r us.

If you are unsure you could always shoot an email to them via their website. That is what I did when prior to purchasing my 2004. They are very helpful.

I have a Maclearen strollers and we are going to Florida in June 2005. They come in dark colors and this attracts the heat. Take a towel or white color blanket and cover the stroller, so that you child is not burning from the heat. :flower:
