National Coupon capacity!

Just re-checked my rate for 11/21-12/02 ressies and the DC and DT coupons are now blocked for coupon capacity control!

My last trip I had a similar message, resubmited the reservation in a few minutes and it took. May have something to do with how many quotes were currently pending?

Well, thank goodness I've got a decent rate! I'm going 11/29 - 12/9 and got in when the rate was $124 for Full size.

I'd be happy with that if it doesn't go down anymore or if it won't accept my coupon.

The same thing happened to me, but I WAS able to use the Entertainment coupon for $15 off a weekly rental.

If you have coupons from other sources- Entertainment, airlines, Sam's Club - give them a try.

Beatty family....is the rate of $124 before or after taxes? i got a rate of $116 pre taxes or $154 after taxes for a one week, full size, in February 2002...I was just wondering if that was a good rate?

I check almost everyday since February for my trip in Nov/Dec and the base rate of $124 is the lowest I've gotten so far and it's already gone back up.

$124 is base for full size before taxes. My total for a 10 days with 2 discounts (Disney club and a coupon) is $179.

Did reserve our Feb vacation -9 days- today for $188. including taxes. I used the Disney club and another coupon for great discounts. Now, i will be watching to see if those rates go down.

Pluto4President - I just went to National and put in your dates, and I also got the capacity control message when using the DC coupon code. However, I tried an Entertainment coupon code for $15 off a weekely rental - and that was accepted. Do you have an Entertainment membership?

Thanks Nancy! I already have a good rate - I just like to keep checking. I do have the EB coupon and if the base rate drops below $124 than I'll use that.

We are going 11/23 - 12/01 and were running into the same problem with the Buena Vista coupon and the DC coupons, as well as a number of the Entertainment coupons. However, we were also able to get the Entertainment $15 coupon to take. $163 for 9 days including taxes. Not bad - hopefully there is something good on the Aisle.

Keep trying and try as many different coupons as you can find. Good luck.
