Having withdrawal today from shopping, so we decided we would have a spot of retail therapy. Plan was the new Super Target on the 192, then Festival Bay, Belz and a quick peak at Premium Outlets. So, after a quick breakfast, Super Target was the first stop. Brand new store, not here in 2003. I really love Target. Not quite as much as WalMart, but comes close!!! Very quiet it was. They had a $1 section, which was interesting!! Kids got GameBoy Advance cases – Pokemon ones for $6 each. They also got tee-shirts and other things too. Headed off in the direction of International Drive, for Belz and Festival Bay. We liked Steve and Barry’s a lot. Great value tee-shirts and things. I couldn’t believe the selection of tee-shirts they had. We had a look round the rest of festival Bay before going to Belz, but by now the kids were not in the best of mood. They were hungry, so after a quick look round a few shops….we headed to the car. It was after 3pm, so maybe they had a point!! Decided on race Rock. Had heard good reports of Race Rock on the boards, so we were keen to try it. We had an Onion Explosion to share. It was HUGE, way too much for just 2. To be honest I thought it would have been a bit tastier. The batter seemed a bit bland. Then I had the Pulled pork sandwich, Tony had the Oriental Chicken Salad. Kids had hotdogs. I treated myself to a Tropical Breeze cocktail.

Well Tony was driving, so it would have been rude not to!!! Very interesting place – kids couldn’t eat their food for wanting to play on the racing games!! Think the bill was around $42, before tip. Nice place – nice food, definitely go again next trip!!

After eating we headed back to the villa. Straight to the pool and Jacuzzi. I don’t think I could ever go back to WDW and not stay in a villa. It’s just so convenient – pool and Jacuzzi in the back garden. It’s so relaxing. And the kids were happy and safe!! Tonight was the night – the other family arrived. We were all together at last!!!!!
Early night tonight, we had an early start. Meeting fellow DISers tomorrow – Night-train and family at IOA!!!!!

So Cath

I take it that was the non-alcholic version of the cocktail ;)

Cath,
Just wanted to say that I've been enjoying your reports. Thanks for taking the time to put them together and for sharing them with all of us. It's been fun to see the photos of your happy family--taken by you, obviously, because we never see you! Hope you handed the camera to someone else every now and then so when people look at your photo albums they'll be able to see that you were there, too.

Aaah Race Rock! We couldn't believe one onion could get so big. Huge mistake when we went there because we all had starter and main... no way you can eat that much food. Fantastic fun trying though. Keep em coming, would love to see piccie of all of you together,

I know what you mean about the exploding onion being huge, we tried to eat one between the 3 of us..couldnt do it;)

We got to prefer the super target to walmart as it was much easier to get parked.

Another great report.
