Anyone watching this???

I just found out who goes this week....its a shock result, thats all I will say! ;)

I vowed I would never watch any of these Pop Idol things, but Ive been strangely hooked on this one!

Anymore addicts here?

I haven't really followed this American Idol much - I did watch the auditions which are utterly hilarious though..... :rotfl2:

Saw the show and the results show live here in the US this week :teeth: . Can't say anything for fear of spoiling it for those who haven't seen it yet, but I've sure got a few things to say!

Yes, we have been following this! I thought we are up to date here - doesn't this air during the week in US as two separate shows, and then on "First Run Fridays" on ITV2 we get the two shows run together?

The show suffers from old fashioned songs - possibly because of the themes they are given and that rights to newer songs aren't forthcoming but even so...... I enjoy watching the auditions more than the shows!

This year's american idol does'nt seem to be as good as the last 3.

If they make american idol 5, they should get rid of paula abul. Bring in some new successful young music stars, to advise these would be singers about the music business.

I've watched most of these (didn't see the first series though) and I agree! Lets be honest no-one knows who she is these days and she seems to get weirder everytime. :sad2:

There seems to have been some kind of sex scandal involving Paula Abdul and one of the contestants. There was something on O'Reilly about it the other night. Its on the Fox News web site if anyones interested.

Yes - it's all over the news here at the moment. John Boy and Billy (syndicated radio show which we always listen to on WHTQ) has had some particularly hilarious comment on the subject! :rotfl:
