Question re: Premium v. Deluxe AP DGC Rates

I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked and answered - I did search but didn't find what I was looking for... :rolleyes:

My family is traveling to DL the first week of June (Monday-Thursday). We already have our hopper passes. I'm planning to trade in our hoppers to upgrade to AP's because my children and I are going again in December for my mom's 50th b-day. We want to stay at the GCH in December and I'm hoping to get an AP rate :teeth: . My question - Do you get the same AP hotel rates regardless of whether you have a Premium or Deluxe AP? Or do the Premium AP's get a better rate?

All AP hotel rates are the same, regardless of which AP you have. So if the blackout dates don't interfere, go for the cheapest AP you can.

That's what I was hoping! Blackout dates don't interfere with our travel plans and I didn't want to pay the extra $100+ and then possibly not even get the hotel rate.
