I plan to visit Disney next May. I read that during reg season AAA gives 10% off villas. Does anyone know what kind of rate AAA generally gives for cabins during regular season. I am a bit sticker shocked over the price of the villas. The washer/dryer in the room would be so nice. But I am strongly considering a cabin since they are less.
Please Help. Advice please. Will my family (husband, two girls 5 & 2) be happy at FW.

I don't know about the prices, but we loved the cabins!! (we paid $139 + tax with a code in 2002) The best part for the kids was renting a golf cart. If you are depending on Disney Transportation, this may not be the place for you.
If your idea of vacation is a resort type atmosphere - see and be seen kind of place, then I doubt you will like FW. If you don't mind getting away from all of the action, then the cabins are great.
If you go with the cabins, I suggest you and hubby sleep on the murphy bed (not a pull-out sofa, quite comfortable)in the living room and put the kids to bed in the bedroom. There is no TV in the bedroom.
Can't wait to go back.

Cool! (But I still recommend sleeping on the Murphy bed as opposed to the bedroom.)
