Are new Disney Dollars out yet?

I heard that the Disney Dollars were having a makeover. Are the new anniversary ones out yet? Can they still be purchased by mail order?

I called my local Disney Store yesterday and was told that they do now have Disney Dollars in. I haven't actually gone to buy them yet, so I can't be positive. :confused3

But in all MA stores nothing except the South Shore Mall (probably because people do not know that it reopened) and they only have $5.00 dollar bills. I have not checked this morning.

I actually haven't been yet. I planned to go yesterday but did not have the chance. When I called the CM told me that they are located two stores down from the previous location.

Forgot to report that I called Peabody, and Salem, NH this morning and they are still out. I have heard the first week of May. When I called Square One Mall yesterday I believe they said mid-May. My guess is since the dollars are being redone for Happiest Celebration campaign they will be in the stores for 05-05-05

I went last Monday. I wasn't impressed at all. It's long and narrow. Very small and bare...hardly any "Disney" decorations.

Someone said it was a temporary location?? Not sure about that but if that's true, then it explains why it's so boring and disappointing...

Yes, the store at South Shore is in a temp location! It will reopen in a newly renovated store sometime in the future. No date has ben set. Just to let you know, there are no Disney dollars at the store in Taunton either, I work there.

I didn't know there was a store in Taunton; that can be a future Disney store option for me too! ;)

Let's hope it just temporary but you never know. I remember when Natick closed and was suppose to reopen in the mall and it never happened. Oh how I loved going to that store! :(

Im hoping the store at the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlboro has them by May 7th. Im going to a Womens Health Seminar that day so I'll be up there.
DS becomes a teenager (ack!!) May 15th. I want to give him $100 in Stitch dollars (I do have others put aside just in case) for our Aug mother/son WDW vacation.

Thanks everyone for doing all the work for me. It makes sense if the new bills are in the store for 5/5/05. The only bummer is that the stores in Cambridge, (where I once worked) and Boston are gone. I'll have to head up to Burlington or Saugus when they do come in.
