My hubby and I will be spending a couple nights at the Radisson Universal in November while we visit US/IOA. We got a really good rate through Priceline ($30 a night). Has anyone here stayed there? What's it like? How close is it to the parks?

Congrats on the great rate. CindyZ on these boards got this great hotel via Priceline this week also!
Makes me madder and madder at the $100 a night I spent two years ago!
The Radisson, called the Twin Towers for a reason, you can see them from just about any point in Orlando, especially at night because it has a neon green light around them at night. It is a three star with a 4 star attitude. Nice big rooms, wonderful service, and they had a great breakfast buffet in the morning that was free for kids.
The pool is heated and very nice. It's a beautiful hotel and it's very close to the park. Enjoy!

Congratulations on the price!

The absolutely best hotel experience we have ever had was at this hotel due to the great attitude of the staff when I had a medical emergency.
The hotel is itself was classy and we loved staying there and if it had the same FOTL benefits as the onsite hotel we would stay there again. (I was spoiled by FOTL)
