We're flying out of Buffalo on May 12 and are staying at the Clarion (http://www7.choicehotels.com/ires/en-US/html/HotelInfoGeneral?hotel=NY244&sid=cG_OM.WyCB2gDhQ.7) as it was the best rate we could find $69, including parking, deluxe continental breakfast and the transfer to the airport.

The Holiday Inn's seemed to all be charging $114 for a Park&Fly package, and the other Choice hotels were charging around $85-90 for the package. We would have preferred to have stayed at the Comfort Suites, but we were told that they would only allow two people in a room, and as we're travelling with an infant, they didn't allow us to reserve a room there.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites BUF 12/2004 for $89 US plus tax and that included 2 weeks parking, shuttle to/from BUF and a HUGE breakfast in the morning. I would call it a deluxe continental.
They also have a nice indoor heated pool, hot tub, and small fitness room.

I don't know about the fact that only two people can stay there. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children. The standard room had two beds plus a pull out sofa, microwave and sm. fridge. It was a large room. I also saw other families there, so if they are telling you that only two can stay in a room that must be brand new policy or the person you spoke too was confused. Maybe call back and ask again if you really want to stay there.

Hi riu girl. I actually went online to check availability and pricing at the Comfort Suites for our night (standard internet rate as I couldn't get the Park/Fly rate online), and it gave me a bunch of pricing and options, but some rooms did come up with "We're sorry, this room can only be booked for 2 people" or something to that effect. They must have some rooms that are blocked off just for 2 max, and some that can accomodate more people, and perhaps they just weren't available on that night for the Park/Fly rate.

I looked up the Clarion and it looks fine, and the reservation agent told me that Clarion is actually at the top end of the Choice Hotel chain, so I'm sure it'll be fine for us, especially just for the one night. I'll use that saved $20US to buy something fun in the parks :-D

I looked up the Clarion and it looks really nice, nice pool/hot tub. It is a little further away from BUF then the comfort suites but you got a very good price. I checked our date (Dec 16) and the price was only $63.99US!!!! :cool1: I talked to DH and he is determinied that he wants to stay at Comfort Suites again :confused3 (It was $89.99US last Dec, I haven't checked this Dec rates). One of his reasons is because DD8 loved the yogurt they serve in the morning. I am UNABLE to find this yogurt in Canada anywhere. UUGGH!! So I guess it is off to Comfort Suites again for us this year!! :rotfl:
But thanks for the info. I'm sure you will enjoy the Clarion (plus saving some $$ for WDW!!!)

How about NEITHER?

Why not try the Homewood Suites Buffalo Airport - much nicer product, better pool, fabulous breakfast buffet, and Hilton points AND Air Canada (or participating US carriers if you prefer) miles.
