Just got back from a week at Ft. W. Stayed in 1426 with a 25 ft. TT with a 5 ft rearslide. Nice site. Six sites away from Comfort Station and campfire and trail to pool and trading post.
The preferred loop was nice in terms of convenience, but the cable hookup (which my 11 year old begged for) was totally unnecessary.
I'd be happy to answer any questions, and I'm sure Lewski709 (who stayed right next to me) would be happy to do the same. :)

I have a request for that one this year with my new motorhome. Is a big loop though. I also liked 400 too. But, close proximity to the playground, pool and campfire was nice in 1400. I know what you mean about the cable, except that I love watching "Mousevision" all the time. I like seeing park hours and all that stuff. Don't know why. It keeps repeating. Something about it gets me excited for the next day. So it's worth it to me. Plus, my satellite might not work too well under the trees. So, at least I will have TV for the little ones and for me to fall asleep to.
Glad you had a good trip.

A couple of questions (1) Is there a playground in close proximity (2) Is there any section (sight numbers) of the 1400 section you would say are better than others. Thanks! Hope you had a great trip.

I just asked the boys, and they said there is a playground near the pool, but if you want one in eye distance to your site, I don't know if there are any in the 1400 loop.
1426 is probably about half way around the loop. That's why the campfire program was so close to us. What I did like about it was that it was very close (six sites away) to the bathhouse, campfire program, movie, chuck wagon and paths to the pool and store, but it was also far enough away so that you didn't get the noise.
The distance to the entrance of the loop was really no issue at all. We are talking a very short walk.
Tricializ, I did watch the weather report on the WDW channel a few times. The boys (9 and 11) maybe watched a total of 2 hours of TV the entire week. Although I wish I could have gotten them to sit down and relax a bit, they were going nonstop the entire week. :bounce: :bounce: And DH and I crashed immediately upon hitting the pillow every night.

Was this the inner or outer part of the 1400 loop...any canal out the back of site....?
Do you think it would accomodate a larger trailer of 30 feet with a slide and awning? sounds nice.
