dolphin show - opening date?

an advertisement for the new dolphin show said it'll open in May. I think i read on this board that it would open on Memorial Day. Does anyone have any info on opening dates? Will it have any "soft" opening dates? I'll probably be there sun. 5/22 & hoping to see it. Any chance of that? Thanks.

i called sw & they said that the official opening date is 5/28 & there isn't any info. re: any soft openings. If someone here on the board is going in may, please let me know if you attended the show or saw any indications of a soft opening as I'd love to work it into our 5/22 plans. thanks.

We are leaving Friday. Boy was I disappointed when I found out that the Dolphin Show would not be running. We are taking DS to Discovery Cove, and the whole deal was to do SW first, and see the Dolphins there, then actually get to swim with them at Discovery Cove.

I'll post back if I happen to find out anything.

I was there a few weeks ago and they were having 'shows' to watch the dolphins being trained for the new show.

How long is the new show going to last? Is it becoming the permanent show for now??? Does anyone know how different it is supposed to be? We're going in October and can't wait to see what's different from our last visit!

It is way different. It is a combo between a dolphin show and Cirque du Solie. It is a totally amazing show. Yes this is the new perminate show for the time being. Hopefully it won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
