I am new to the DIS boards as well as a new DVC member. Can anyone tell me the difference in the DVC Community Board and the Disney Vacation Club Forum? I know I read it somewhere but can't find it again. :confused3

Well, welcome X 2! Where did you buy your 'home' at?
I don't know what the official board difference is, but the way I use it is;
If it's fluffy, it goes on the community board. (Trip reports, fun stuff).
If it's information/question/technical stuff, it goes on the Disney Vacation Club Forum.
I hope someone corrects me if that is wrong!
Enjoy your new home. :wave2:

Thanks for the info and for the welcome! :flower3: Our new home is in HH but our first DVC member visit is to OKW. We can't wait.
Thanks again.

You might take a look at Doc's original post announcing the new board. He lists a few things as they may apply to the two boards.

My rule of thumb - more serious posts DVC Board, less serious chatty type posts here. Then if all else fells put it where you want and the moderators will move it if you guessed wrong :rolleyes1. I know I've guessed wrong on more than one occasion.

I post EVERYTHING here and make the mods figure it out.
Makes my life easier. :earboy2:
Since I'm here, anyone have any opinions on staying at a hotel near Seaworld?
(joking, please don't move this post you lovely, hard working moderator types..) :love:
