Might go in december, unsure what week yet, that's if we don't take a Disney Cruise... that might be in December... still deciding with DBF. If we do go... concierege room, not sure which resort yet... maybe the Poly? Maybe AKL?

DH and I are going December 12-21 with our DD and my sis and her family (DBIL, DNep7, DNep2 and D?2months), my parents and my aunt and uncle and their two boys. We are staying at VWL and so far we have planned the Luau, Chef Mickey, Cinderella's Table, and Citricos. Plus, I am trying to arrange a special dinner at the GF with convention services as a surprise Christmas present. Should be wonderful!

We're going on Dec 4 and returning Dec 10 for our 3rd trip in 18 months. We're staying at OKW this time. DW and kids still don't know about the trip. Don't know how I'll tell them yet. Can't wait for MVMCP for the 1st time!!
Still waiting for SWA to release Dec fares but don't think we'll have any problems getting some of those $39 or $49 fares for those dates. Maybe I'll get lucky and get $29 fares like I got this past February.
SnowyPrincess....Did you have any particular dates in mind for your Illuminations Cruise? Maybe we could share one???? Its me, DW, DS7 and DD 4.

And I can hardly wait. It seems too far away. It doesn't even feel like Spring here yet and I am thinking of Christmas. I think this is going to be one very long summer and fall.

My DH and I are going November 30 - to December 11th, 2005. We are doing the 4 day cruise on the Wonder in the middle. Have it booked and almost paid for. Due to Ebay which has paid for 3/4 of the trip. Now just waiting for good air fairs. Can wait. :)

We're booked in for Dec 5 - 19 at POP. We can't wait, this will be our first 10-day trip ever, but with the new MYW tickets, we decided we just couldn't afford not to go for the extra 3 days. We even got a great deal on airfare last Sunday - $182.00 return PP Canadian! We're flying United out of Buffalo and we'll get to MCO at 10:45 am and leave MCO at 6:30 pm.
We don't have many specifics planned. We have decided we need to try and get PS for a princess meal and we definately want to go to O'hana. We've never done a fireworks cruise or anything like that, but we might try that kind of thing this trip (since everything else has been pretty inexpensive!)

SnowyPrincesses - I'm going Dec. 3-11, staying at ASMu with my DS8. There will be 5 people counting my my parents and sister who are staying at CSR. What's the date of your Illuminations cruise??? We may be interested if it's between Dec. 5 and 10, although I expect you'll be gone by then - oh well!
For fun stuff I hope to sign my son up for the morning Pirate Cruise at the GF on Dec. 7 and the whole family will be doing MVMCP on Dec. 8. Plus we have some fun PS outings, with our first night at Ohanas, Crystal Palace on Dec. 4, Breakfastosaurus on Dec. 10. Doing either CRT or LTT before the Christmas party on the 8th. Planning an adult night out at the Adventurers Club at DTD while DS plays at Neverland Club. Would love to go to Blizzard Beach but I heard last year it was cold the first week of December.
This is the first WDW trip for DS and as you can see, I've been doing some planning! I don't want to overplan so I have lots of flexible time and downtime built into my itinerary too.
Maybe we'll see you there!

Mickeymacks - what do you have booked for flights? We are going December 9-17 and splitting our stay between VWL and SSR. We are from Windsor but we are taking my DD, SIL and DGD from New Brunswick and I am confused on what to book them for flights.

We're going from Dec 16 to the 23rd. We're staying offsite at the Silver Lakes Resorts. Apparently, you can see Animal Kingdom from there and there's a short cut drive to AK...hmmmm..was actually planning on skipping AK this trip.
Got the car rental reserved and just need to get flights and the priority seatings figured out. My brother and I are taking our parents again and they enjoyed O'Hana's last time. Maybe we'll do it again but I keep hearing great things about Boma. Hmmmm...decisions...decisions (yes, we could go to both...I'll have to check our finances.) We'll want to do at least one character meal too...usually breakfast (but not Cindy's table...done that before and don't need the stress of calling at 6:59 am to get a seating.)
Oh...is it only April??? <sigh> :hyper: are we there yet? are we there yet?

Ah yes, Dec in Orlando. In 2003, we managed to be in Orlando when they had a cold snap. It got a bit tiring listening to the news as they went on and on about how this was the coldest it had been in Orlando in years. Argh... There are wonderful photos of us in our Canadian winter jackets in front of the castle. I think we had 2 warm days before the cold set in.
Last year we didn't go and I think it was also very cold.
So...I thought...what are the chances that they'll have 3 years in a roll of record cold snaps? So we're going this year to test fate. :earboy2:

:scratchin
Hmmmmm....don't think so. haha...we didn't go last year and it was still cold there so I think we're not the jinx. Besides, we went in 2000 and had the best week in December that year. :mickeybar ate many bars that trip.
I think my parents will be a bit annoyed with me if it's Ontario weather in Orlando again. Still...there's nothing like Christmas in WDW...I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. :wizard: It's magic!

I haven't booked a cruise yet but I'll keep you updated, we are still fundraising. Dreams take flight has donated $300.00 twards her airfare and we all made $473.00 at yard sale today despite the rain. We're holding it over until sun. so hopefully we will make more then. Send Pixie dust that the weather is better for us. We want :sunny: There are an awful lot of extras I want to do with Jerri but it will depend on the money I can raise.
