Board Problems ????

I don't know if it's BT's DNS servers or if it's more widespread but I seem to be having problems with the DISBOARDS and WDWINFO this evening :(

I have manged to get access by using the raw IP address to connect to the sites but things still aren't quite right :(

Is anyone else having problems or is it just me??

Alan I know DiBerry is having problems. I will go and report it to the Tech Board I think.

Hilary is having trouble getting in and she is BTInternet too, I wonder if it is something to do with that??

I'm with NTL and I have only been able to get on *** Miffy sent me the IP address, I've been off since yesterday afternoon and my normal link to the Disboards is still down

I had problems yesterday and earlier this morning but seem to be okay at the moment. I tried Alan's method and it worked :)

Just managed to get in from our home PC (via NTL) - had no problem this morning from my PC at work though!

I'm also with NTL and I couldn't get in all day either.:sad2: I've now put the link from the Tech Support forum for the IP address in my favourites in case it ever happens again.

Just thought, I am with Tesco which is routed through NTL so maybe it is a problem with NTL.

I've been trying since Friday afternoon with no luck until 5 mins age - at home I am braodband with NTL - but had trouble at work which is Broadband with Elonex (i think) and couldn't get on all morning. I have really missed dissing!!!!

On Friday I upgraded to the latest BTYahoo software. Could not get onto the board at all (plus a few other sites). Was not able to open more than 3 explorer windows without the "Send Error Report Message". If I booted up and went through the "Normal" explorer I had no problems.

I contacted BT YAhoo and they sent me the standard "go into Control Panel etc message delete the "old" software then go to their site and install the New (as if I hadn't done that already). So I've now deleted the BT YAhoo software and am surfing the net through the standard Microsoft Internet Explorer without any problems (BTYahoo take note).

If and when, BT Yahoo overcome this problem, I might reinstall their software!
