We are arriving 2 days before package starts, what should we do and where should we s

This will be our first trip there and need some help from the more experienced folks here. We arrive on Sept. 6th and don't check in to AKL until the 8th. We wanted to arrive early to get full use of day one instead of arriving that day and losing half the day due to travel. Also, we won't have our tickets yet, think we might do Universal. Wondering what other possibilites there are and where we should stay?? Help?? :flower:

I'm on that site now, actually saw a review this morning from a family that just got back from CPGV and had stayed at CP on an earlier trip. So I am looking into those two. Thanks.

If you are thinking about going to Universal you may want to look into staying on-site there. Front of the line is a wonderful perk and the hotels are really nice!

Did you stay at Cypress Pointe? Was considering staying there when we go to Orlando in Sept. Any info you can supply is appreciated.

I haven't been there yet. Going September 6-15th. When in September is your trip? Everyone keeps saying to stay at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. I looked into it at hotelkingdom.com and in September the rate for a 2 bedroom villa was about $95.00 a night. With a family of 6 we would need 2 regular hotel rooms and this place sounds great. I think this is where we will be.
