Yesterday I was told that Disney was providing the military with free passes. I was there April 3rd and knew nothing about this? Can anyone confirm or deny, is this something new? Last thing I knew Disney was NOT doing any promotions for military.

Thanks! :cheer2:

I haven't heard anything but I seriously doubt that's true. A LOT of military families go to WDW and they know that they'll pay to go there. :flower: Wish it was true though, it would be nice to get some free passes! :)

Not that I know of at WDW, but be sure to check into the Salute To Heroes that the Anheuser-Busch theme parks are offering.

To those of you who serve or have served... thank you.

Disney World did give away free 5 day passes to the military after Sept.11th happened. The family members could buy them for $99. It really helped our budget a lot that year!!! They also gave 50% off room rates. It made for an extra nice trip. :goodvibes

At one time (a couple years ago) they offered free admission for the soldier and half price for up to so many dependents, 3 I think. It was the same time that Anheiser-Busch did a Salute to Heroes promo, too. It would be nice if Disney followed them with it this time, too.

I actually was in the MWR office today, looking at their available tickets. Be sure to ask your local MWR/ITT, because ours has some leftover hoppers that could be a really good deal for those interested.
