I have never done WDW with an itinerary, but now I'm thinkin' I'm gonna need one! There's so many things to think about! I'm bringing my sister with me, she'll be 14 yrs old. Do I really want to bring her DATWII?? I want to go to the Adventurer's Club and the Karaoke too. Arrgh!! So much to think about and plan! I don't want to leave her behind...
Maybe she could hang out with others her age or something. I'm gonna have to talk it over with my Mom as to what she is allowed to do.
Ok, back to planning! :) :bounce:

Hi Kim.

Why don't you take someone's itinerary (mine if you want) and scratch stuff out and add your stuff and see if it works for you.

Also, I'm sure there are going to be other 'kids' your sister's age that she could hang out with....and/or I don't know if she would be allowed to stay in the hotel room herself....but maybe if she wants to go to bed and you want to join the party at P.I. you could do that....and/or she can always come to our hotel and watch my 2 kids while you and I and DH go out and  Par-tay!!! JUST KIDDING ABOUT THIS PART! :D :D :D

We'll work something out! :) :) :)

Tia, you are way too funny! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement! I think my first stop is going to be my mon's house so I can talk to her and my sister. I have no idea what she wants to do! I've been trying to get her to read the boards but she hasn't yet.
On the other hand, my Mom has been lurking...Hi MOM!!!

 Hi NurseKim's mom.

And don't worry.....I was just kidding about leaving her alone in the hotel. don't want to get Kim in trouble before she even gets there!

And just kidding about the babysitting.....or was I? ;) ;) ;)

There are going to be other people there who are her same age.....you'll have options, I'm sure of it! :) :) :)

I think we ought to give a prize to the one that attends the most meets. :)

Well Barry, since you're hosting about half of them, I suppose YOU could very well be the winner of that prize! :D

I'm supposed to be in my office working right now! But, I hope to sit down later and go over all the schedules and put everything together. Kim, you have plenty of time to go over things and we're all here to help you sort things out. Don't panic! That's what this board is all about. :D
Hi, Kim's mom!!!

Well being that I'm coming with my Mom and 8 yo dd and 5 yo ds I think I'm just going to do a park a day and try to find a meet within that park that day. I can't go jumping from park to park with the kids. Hopefully Mom will watch the kids one night so I can join up with the adults and party with them.;)

Oh Debbie....you're making me look like horrible mother....LOL I've thought about the same thing.....just do what the kids want and hope that there is a DIS meet to be found. :D

I think you have a great idea! :)

Which resort are you and your sister staying?

For late evenings, for those that are staying at the ASMo, I might work something out where me and my girls could have an evening at the pool, others kids could be there as well. Sure would be nice if our rooms were close by so when all got tired, we could put them snug in thier beds to sleep. Any ideas on how to acomplish that?

I would need to know a little ahead of time though so I won't volunteer to keep up with too many. :D

This is why I am being selfish by going by myself. I knew we'd be busy with convention activities, and didn't want to feel quilty cause I would be dragging my mom around. I think it would have been too much for her. I did ask her if she's like to join me after the official convention is over, but she decided we'll wait until late Feb/early March. The weather is nicer and it gives her some time to save a little money.
