Hi my name is Rachel. I hang out over on the community boards and someone said I should come on over here. I am looking to join WW online. I do not want to physically attend meetings... yeah I am weird (plus I don't have anyone to go with and I am kinda shy/reserved IRL).
My story:
I weighed 100-120 pounds until I had my son. I went up over 200 pounds and then dropped back down to 120-130 until I went on the EVIL depro-provera (about 4 years after he was born). I gained and gained and gained.
The nurse practioner or whatever she was did not want me going off of it (basically did not want me having more kids I guess? :confused3 I was married, we both had good jobs.. I do have a physical disability but my son was not born with it and I was told I'd have as good as chance as any to conceive more children if I wanted).
Anyways I was on that drug for 2 years and gained back up over 200 at one point. I did go down to 180ish and last year went down to 170ish (I do not weigh often--here and there). I gained it back-- I am probably 180-185 (I haven't weighed myself) again. I am bummed I threw away all my 1x and 2x clothes :( and had to go back and get new ones.
I do have severe arthritis in my hips and knees. Exercise is very limited. Now that it has warmed up here in AZ I plan to swim at least 3-4x a week. Doctors 2 years ago (when I was 170ish) told me walking and using exercise machines are detrimental to my legs b/c of the severe arthritis plus the weight of course.
