Favorite Loops for FW Cabins?

Can anyone help me decide which Loop to request for cabins - January '06.
I guess the variables would be scenery, isolation, convenience to the pool, laundry, etc.

Planning one week - 2 cabins for grandpa and the family.

Last stay was in '91, and the "cabins (small house trailers)" were still scattered around the campsite loops as I remember -

We've stayed in loop 2600 and 2500. While both were nice, our favorite was 2500. It is a bit smaller than others, I think, close to the pool, bus stop, basketball court, laundry. We really like it. :banana:

2500 is our favorite. It is a small loop, right next to the pool and laundry, and very near a bus stop. We just love the cabins.

We are going in January 2006 also, and have just recently discovered Ft. Wilderness. We always thought we'd stay at The Wilderness Lodge Resort on our 10 Yr Anniversary (that was our plan when we went on our honeymoon in '96) but the cabins seem perfect since we now have kiddos. I'm so happy to have found this site and all the helpful information! We are finalizing plans now for our trip...can't wait to book!

We stayed in the 2300 loop, we had a bus stop right out our cabin door.

:goodvibes I loved FW, it was so peaceful to have coffee on the porch listening to the birds chirping, yet the MK is a quick boat ride away. I cannot wait until we can go there again.

We just got back a week ago. Our cabin was in the 2100 loop. It was very close to the bus stop and we could walk to the campfire program. Nevertheless, when we had to do laundry and noticed the conveinence of loop 2500 we thought that would have been the better site. It seems like the best loop for access to the pool and laundry. :)

We requested 2500 but it was full. We were able to get 2600 fairly close to the bus stop, which is by the pool in the 2500 loop. 2600 is huge, so if they want to put you there, check on a map the exact cabin location.
