I've been doing searches and couldn't find anything really good. Let's put one together and maybe make it sticky?

Yes, that is my SHORT list. Took me 5 mintues. Now if you wanted to be creative or is space is a problem, there are some items that can serve more than one purpose. That list also doesn't include whatever personal items you need, like toleteries, clothing, raincoats, etc, etc. I wouldn't necissarily bring all of that to WDW, but for any other campout I would definatly make sure I have at the very least that list. Please feel free to add to it, or if anyone has any questions please ask.

I would take off the hatchet as chopping on anything is not allowed at Ft. Wilderness.

The shovel could actually come in handy in case of huge rain storm where routing of water from the sand pad might be necessary. (Happened to a Guy in December 2002.

My main concern is that the blender is in perfect working condition and I have plenty of margarita makings.

You may as well mark off anything that burns a flame as well since the only fire you can have at your site is a charcoal fire in the grill.

Open flame, that is. I have not heard of them fussing about propane stoves and/or lanterns.

However, tiki torches, fire pits, and the large citronella candles have all been stopped by Ft. Wilderness staff.

I didn't even think of these. I prefer charcoal cooking and I always use battery op'd lanterns because I'm afraid of catching fire!!!

We went once and someone brought the griddle to make pancakes for breakfast. I wish we had thought of that...and it will be on our list the next time we go :)
