View Full Version : advise on going from ASMu to Boardwalk

ok, our kids are going to spend an evening at the Harbor Club.....we want to drop them off at 5:00 & pick them up at 10:00....we are staying at ASMu.....do we take a bus to Epcot & walk to the Boardwalk? How far of a walk is it to do that? Is there any easier way that I don't know about? Help!! I am really lost when it comes to the distances between things.

It would probably be closer to take a bus to MGM and either walk or take the boat over to BWV. If you take the bus to Epcot you have to walk through Future World and then half of World Showcase to get to the International Gateway. If you want to spend some time in Epcot first, this would work out.

I was at the All Star Music and had family other family members staying at the Boardwalk. I found the easiest way was taking the Bus to MGM and then the boat to the Boardwalk.

Also if you talk the bus to Epcot you need to use a day on your passes to go thru Epcot to get to the Boardwalk.

I really don't know what I would do without these boards. Thank you very much for helping me out. I will definately go to MGM & take the boat. The kids will get a kick out of that. 10 more days!!!! Can't stand the wait!!!

Note that the fastest way is to take a cab and your hotel can easily get one for you.

You can also walk to Coronado Springs (just down the road) and take a direct bus to Boardwalk.

Coronado Springs provides bus service to Boardwalk due to the convention visistors that frequent the resort.

I really am not sure which is the longer walk, MGM to Boardwalk or All-Stars to Coronado. But it is an additional option, especially if MGM has already closed for the evening.

Once again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I never even gave it a thought that MGM will be closed when we pick up the kids. I think we will walk to CSR & take bus to Boardwalk like you suggested. Then we will take a cab back to ASMu at 10:00. Only 10 days to go!!!!
