has anyone had a private party or dinner at the orlando melting pot restaurant?

we are searching for a rehearsal dinner location for our wdw wedding & were considering the melting pot restaurant in orlando, has anyone ever been to dinner there or had a private party there?

we have been looking on property thus far but a price tag $ comes with many of the wdw private dining areas/restaurants.

no but lots of people have special occasions in the one in my town. i would expect them to all be great. they have larger and smaller rooms to fit your accomdations. i would call them great idea

How many people will be invited to the dinner? Do you want to have a real dinner or a cocktail party with just cheese and dessert fondue? The only detractor I would say is that since you need to cook your own food that the Melting Pot might not be a great choice since guests would all have to be seated and waiting for the food to cook. I love the food at the Melting Pot but I hate that I always leave smelling like food. :earboy2: Also the Melting Pot is fairly expensive. The 3 fondue pot meal is almost $50 a person and that doesn't include any cocktails.

we've eaten at the melting pot before here in illinois. but we are loking at the orlando location for our wdw wedding. i know they offer a private room & custom menu & pricing for groups there and we are considering the location for 14 people for a rehearsal dinner.

has anyone had a party there?
