What dept would they be in? I looked in the summer/seasonal aisle but no luck. Never anyone around to ask when you have a question at our Walmart. I needed my laptop so I could ask here. :flower:

I saw them at our Walmart on a stand up front close to the registers. They were 4.99. I was going to buy one, but then couldn't decide if I wanted to haul one around the parks or not.

Are those the large ones, about 8" tall?

Just before the summer (right about now) they have them everywhere in the store but they seem to sell them near the large home fans and by the coolers, at least that's where the Walmart in Stroudsburg, PA has them. Good luck :cool1:

At my walmart they were in the hardware dept. near the large fans...they were 4.94. They also had small key chain fans for $1.00 :wave2:

Not wallmart but our local wallgreen (pharmacy) had lots on sale today. Small 2/1.00 medium, hands free, ones to add water and a cool clip on one that would be great for a stroller.

Oh and they had a personal size one with light up feature, great for kiddos at night!

I couldn't find them at my Walmart either. By accident I found them at Walgreen's. I paid $7.99 yesterday. The water bottle on the fan has a large enough opening for ice. There's also a lanyard in the package.

I was just shopping for these today in my local Walmart. The sales associates (I asked a few) all knew what I was speaking of but was not sure where to find them. They all thought that they would be on the end of an isle on a strip. Then a manager came around and the sales help asked her and she said that they have not come into the store yet. She said the front registers are a good place to keep an eye out. Otherwise they are scattered throughout the store.

Thank you. Maybe they aren't out yet at our store either. But I'll check by the fans. AND I'll check out Walgreens too.
happybratpack-If you are going in the hotter months, you'll be glad you bought one at home. In the parks they cost $20!

About 5 years ago I purchased small personal misters, they were about 4' or 5" tall and had a string to hang them around your neck. They looked similar to the small fans at Walgreens. I can't find those anywhere. Would any of you have come across those in your shopping? The misters at Walgreens are to large to carry around at the parks.

I got 2 of them last week. They were on a clearance shelf in the rear of the store. The ones I got are by O2cool (I think, they are packed for the trip now) and they were only $1 (previously $4.94). These are the ones with the fan/spray bottle, not the keychain fan. SO, I suggest you look through the clearance shelves at your WalMart!(this may be why you haven't been able to find them in the usual places)

Yes, haul it around! We usually go in the summer and they save us. Each one of my kids have one and I just get them to spray me when I think I might pass out!!!

I went to Walmart last night and the guy I talked to about the fans said they will be in soon with the summer stuff. He said they are usually with the bigger fans and run about $4.95. Just thought I would let everyone know what they told me in a Walmart in NY. :flower:
