We are just getting all the clothes packed for next week’s trip and are wondering how cold the nights are in late April. My wife is always cold and says mid 60s are cold. What do you guys think? We will be in a tent.
Thanks

A lot depends on the humidity. Make sure you open up the tent during the day and run a fan to get rid of the interior moisture. Also keep the windows cracked at night to let airflow through and get rid of the moisture.
Have her bring some sweats to sleep in. It won't hurt to have some just in case.
Oh and absolutely change into totally dry night clothes to sleep in. Even in very cold weather sleeping in stuff you've worn that day will make you colder because of sweat.
Keeping dry is the key to staying warm if it is cool!!

I'm cold natured like your wife.
The only thing she "might" need at night is a sweat shirt. (With a zipper) socks, long pants and shoes. (for night time, maybe) It is a really a very pleasant time of the year. When they talk about "60's" it's when you are sleeping. It warms up pretty fast and does not really cool down until after sunset. Humidity can make things warmer. I'm usually colder in the AC then the outdoors this time of year.
I'm heading over to the world the week after you and the above mentioned is all I'm taking to stay warm in the early morning or evening. No need for any of it in the parks.
The weather now is what Florida is all about. Come on down and enjoy! :sunny:
