Hi there,
we are going to gatorland on the first friday of our holiday and then onto kisimee/oldtown, we were wondering if you need to adopt the same strategy for gatorland as with every other park , in as much as i mean doyou need to get there dfor opening or could we go abit later and have a kip in on that day, would we miss anything going at say 10 -10:30?
Cheers everyone.
Lee
Gatorland is not like any other theme park. You can show up any time of the day and see the sites at your own pace without the big crowds to deal with. It isn't fancy like the other big parks, but it is one of the original Central Florida attractions, so it has some history behind it. It is worth a see. Enjoy yourself!

You will have a great time at Gatorland. No need to rush to get there.

Welcome to the DIS, mallaeus, I'm glad that you found us and I hope you can visit often.
I'm going to move this to our Orlando Hotels and Attractions board.

Gatorland is great, and take your time getting there. The park does not take the whole day to go through, I would say about half the day. Our eleven year old loves it! :flower:

If you're going soon, you'll be able to see hundreds of birds nesting in the Alligator Breeding Marsh -- and incredible sight!
There's a complete guide to Gatorland posted here. (http://www.theotherorlando.com/contents/chapters/6/index.html)
