Our 2 yo DS will likely spend the majority of each day in the stroller (ah, what a life :) ) but I know our 6 yo DS will want to ride sometimes too. I'm wondering if they could sit together in the single for short periods of time or if it's necessary to splurge and rent the double? What I mean by sitting together is have 6 yo DS sit in back with 2 yo DS between his legs, leaning back. From looking at the pics on allearsnet.com, they look large enough for this (my sons are average-below average size), with the exception of the MGM strollers. Anyone have experience with this?

I would go with the double if you are going during hot weather. We have to go in April, :teacher: and always get a double. Our kids are 9,7 and 3 this trip and we will still get the double. When it's hot it's nice to just squeeze them in and give them a break from the heat. Plus, we have always had at least one of them fall asleep waiting for fireworks.

yep! Splurge for the double. You'll be glad you did. You can leave the diaperbag/snackbag in it while on rides rather than toting them around. Also, the 2 kids can ride together. We just got back and our 6 yr old DD stayed in while, 9 & 11 yr DS's took turns and while they did parent swap w/ DH, I sat in it too!!
