There are alot of good thing around the world that are SBD friendly. I went last September on week 4 of SBD. I ate entirely counter service so even that's possible. Salmon is available at Tusker House in AK just ask for extra vegetables in place of the rice. BBQ Ribs are available several places. Rotisserie Chicken is also available. The Earl of Sandwich in DTD had an excellent mixed chef greens salad. It was a good change from the normal iceberg. Go and look at the menu's on Deb's Site http://www.allearsnet.com to see whats available. I allowed myself 1 "treat" a day. Something I didn't ordinarily eat. One day I had a bowl of Ice Cream (fat free no sugar added) from the Main St. ice cream parlor. Another day, I had some corn bread. You are on vacation and walking ALOT. So enjoy yourself a little. With a little bit of planning it is fairly easy to find things to eat and not get bored eating the same thing meal after meal.

I was also successful at eating on SBD while at Disney last year. It was so refreshing to focus on having a good time instead of eating. I'm not saying that is your problem, but it was mine. Everything in my life seemed to revolve around food. Okay, back to Disney eating, Jeremy has already given you some great suggestions so I'll just add. I always found something at the buffets like Donald's and Crystal Palace, they have the usual stuff like eggs, sausage and bacon but also fresh fruits, oatmeal and grits.

We stayed at the Grand Floridian and a couple of days we ate breakfast at Gasparilla Grille and I would have bacon, eggs and a small bowl of grits. For lunch we ate mostly counter service. I found out that any of the counter service places will make your burger without the bun. Some places acted like they didn't know what I was talking about I was insistent that they can and do prepare them that way and got it done this way each time. The advantage of having your burger prepared this way instead of just throwing away the bun and ordering it regular is that they have to make it fresh because they melt the cheese on the bread normally. I would get a fruit salad instead of fries and a diet soda to finish the meal.

At MK you can get a hot dog at Casey's with no bun with some chili and get a small popcorn from one of the vendors. You can also take advantage of the great toppings bar at Peco Bills or get a taco salad from the Mexican place next door. Ohanas' is a great place for dinner at the Poly with all the grilled meats you can eat. Jeremy already mentioned the no sugar added ice cream from the bakery on Main Street, they have two varieties. At Epcot they have sugar free cheesecake (just okay) and at the bakery in Norway they have chocolate mousse (delicious).

You can really find acceptable choices just about anywhere at Disney. These are just examples. I hope you have a great trip!
