CKU (Creating Keepsakes University) is on July 21-23. Registration begins on April 20th. I saw a picture over on 2peas of all the goodies! (If you're thinking about going, bring an empty suitcase!!) I can't decide. I want to go, but the cost and the class listings.. I think I would be overwhelmed by the classes. As a friend said tonight "I'm just a casual scrapper.." I love scrapping, I'm just not 'serious' about it .. I have the impression that it's going to be alot of SAHM's and professional-type scrappers. Not that there's anything wrong with either of those.. I'm just, well, neither of them!

So, I thought I would see if other Dis'ers are going.. I somehow can see myself being the weird one.. wanting to bail on night crops (shock! gasp!) or after class to get in some time at the parks. It would be nice to know if other Disney addicts are going!

I have friends that have gone to CKU and even if you are not an "advanced" scrapbooker you will learn LOTS of great ideas and techniques and have a great time. You will also meet lots of really nice people and rub elbows with some scrapbooking "celebrities".

I attended three CKU's last year and from experience can HIGHLY recommend going if you have the opportunity.

CKU is tons of fun. Sure, you get all kinds of scrapping goodies at registration and in each class. Of course you learn all kinds of neat techniques and walk away with lots of new ideas for your scrapbooks. But best of all you meet scrapping enthusiast of all levels.

You don't have to go to the evening crops, though there are usually lots of give-aways and contests to win more scrapping supplies. (And to be honest, most people don't get much scrapping done at the crops.)

Oh, and if you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer if I can.
