What things would you recommend to enhance the cabin experience. I thought maybe tiki torches would be nice for the little deck and sitting out there at night. do we need a lantern? what do you think.
Also, which is the best cabin loop?

Don't forget charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. And coffee for the coffee maker. :flower:

Leave the tiki torches at home. Torches are not allowed at Ft. Wilderness. Truthfully, the cabins pretty much have everything you could want.

Not sure how much cooking you will be doing, but the cabins do not have cookie sheets. Found that out when I went to make my crescent rolls to have with dinner one night!

Those are the kinds of things I'd like to know. I like to cook biscuits and rolls and yet it never would have occurred to me to look for a cookie sheet. Thanks!
I plan to cook breakfasts, a couple of lunches and at least one dinner.

My thoughts exactly, but don't forget to add in real TP!

Are you driving? Because that will make a difference on what you bring. Cookie sheet is a must....not only for cookies and rolls etc but for frozen pizza. Their knives leave a lot to be desired so if you have a favorite one, bring it. Salt, pepper, coffee filters, sugar and stuff like that.

trust me, wine and beer were the first entries on my list. one of the things that appealed to me the most was the ability to put the kids to bed and have a drink or two with DH on the deck.
We are driving so we can pack what we want from home. I'm so excited to stay at the cabins, I could bust.
