Does anyone live in York??

Hi. Looking for help please. We are leaving for Orlando on Thursday morning and I have just been told by my boss that I am needed in York - I have to drive up and stay 3 nights until Wednesday night. How on earth we are going to get packed etc and sort everything out for the holiday I don't know. Anyway, I have a problem. I am going to be staying in the Premier Travel Inn in Blossom Street, York and I will need to get to Kings Square, York each morning. I presume this is walkable but I can't get a map to give me a route - they only give driving directions and as Kings Square is mostly pedestrianised it won't give me a map. Can anyone in the York area help me out with walking directions please??

I am not much help i'm afraid, I do know Yorks shopping area quite well but thats about it.

A not very understanding boss me thinks! You should find one who understands hols come first ;)

Thanks anyway. Boss is understanding really. He wanted me to stay till Friday but he is being generous and letting me go on hols (not that he had any choice)!! :p
