Here's an unusual money saving question for you

Has anyone ever booked a hotel/rental car package through Hotwire and never picked up the rental car? The reason I'm asking is that I seem to be able to get a really good deal on a hotel with this package but I don't want/need the rental car. Would this work out or would it cause a problem for me?

Did you check out the deals w/o the car rental?

Yes, it be a bit cheaper, but with the hotel/car package you know what hotel you're getting.

I've booked through hotwire before w/o knowing the hotel and did just fine, but it's all up to you! Check into any cancelation fees for not picking up the car before booking.
