DH flies in tonight on leave from Iraq; DD is only 4 weeks old...but I have a PILE of photos now from the last month, surely it will get bigger while DH is home! Maybe he can watch the kiddoes for me so I can have some scrappin time. :earsgirl:

Nope - I tend to go in spurts and this year the spring is crazy. Although when I do get back to DS's book I will have at least a couple pages to do on your alma mater Carrie! Our visit was wonderful! Email me when you get a chance.

Scrapped yesterday. I finally figured out if I scrap the kids school pages and the teachers books at the same time it moves a lot quicker! LOL! one book is a 12x12 and the teacher books are 8x8.
So I am now up to 28 pages!

Yes - those were the pages that I had done a Power Layout of in March, but didn't have time to do....

Now I'm doing my current album - I'm at Halloween - and I've done 12 pages in that....

Aprils goal is to finish the 12x15 I am working on and get my son's school book updated.

I complete 6 more pages this morning so I am now at 10. My goal is to finish the second book for my mom before the end of the month. I can't belief I'm only on 1973. It seems to have taken me a long time to get through the early 70's. I looked through the pictures I have and I think the next couple years will get done quickly. Hoping to get through the bicentenial by the end of this week. Need more pages for the one's I've done so I must get to my LSS today.

I'm so embarrassed! I haven't TOUCHED my scrapping in 2 weeks! We have been so busy on our farm delivering new calves and baby goats. Seems we went through a spell where we were having a set of twins or at least a single born every day! Then the cows starting dropping!! EVERY day I have to check on them and make sure all are delivering w/o any problems and then at night DH and I have to get the goats up in our barn so they're safe--we have ALOT of coyotes around here. In addition to that, we just finished our taxes Thursday AND my MIL has had some pretty serious health issues to come up in the last week. AND of course there's my job (home based travel agent) and all 3 girls playing soccer now.

I finally finished our Disney album but will have to buy several more pkts of refill pages and possibilly another album to get all the pages in albums!! I'm hoping tonight I can start working on another album until I can find more refill pages.

I finished taxes wed, cleaned Thursday, actually went out for fun Friday and had company Sat & Sun. I did ge tsome stuff together for a crop tonight, so I should see some progress. With taxes over, I should be ablt to find some quality scrappin' time now.

Karen - Living on a farm. That sounds soo cool, but a LOT of hard work. Amazing you find time to scrap at all!

Steph - DS' surgery album? I hope all's ok and that that album can be completed soon without more additions!

Two more pages...taking my total pages for this month to 10. Finished our 2001 WDW trip. I have three non-disney shorter trips to scrap from 2002 and then back to some disney scrapping for 2003 & 2004.

I haven't done anymore pages yet, but I did power sort my 8 day WDW Christmas trip. So now I have 2 trips power sorted, just one more to go. I was hoping to get all three done before we left for our next trip next week, but I ran out of page protectors and I need to get another scrapbook.

Count me out for April. My husband just got back from a 2 week work trip to Europe and cropping hasn't been an option in my life. I have however been working on organizing the walk in closet in my guest room as my scrapbook closet so look out in May - I have 2 crops scheduled for then too. ( One can always hope to get a lot of pages done - our trip to Disney is next month however so we will see) :)

I went to an 8 hour crop today and only got 6 pages done. It was my first all day crop and it was fun. They had way too many games so, I didn't scrap as much as I wanted. I really need to get more organized too.

I've gotten 10 pages in the book this last week. Boy does it feel good to get going again. I still have to get them journaled, but hopefully, I'll get that done by the end of the week.

I did 2- 4 page layouts for my kids school year book. It was a collage picture and let me tell you they were the hardest pages I think I have ever done!
And now she just brought over another set!

I was able to get 11 pages done this weekend. I have a couple more to journal and title so hopefully I can finish today. I think my total is now at 21. Not great but getting that book finished for my mom is my goal. I am hoping to get another 10 pages done this week so I can give it to here this weekend when we go visit.

I was semi-disappointed in the scrapping store at DTD; when I went in 2003, there was nothing there I hadn't already seen in the parks & resort gift shops. Have fun at WDW!

Well, I guess I have been buying as much stuff as I can at World of Disney, because of the 10% AP discount, but I have always ended up going back to the scrapbooking store to pick up a few things.

I'm not having a very good month! Have been so busy w/taxes, work, and baby goats being born left and right, I just haven't had time to sit long enough to work on anything. I did complete 2 pages over the weekend from soccer in the Spring of 2003. Hopefully I'll get to do a couple more pages before Friday and work up to 10 pages. That's lousy but I hope May will be better. Planning to go to a crop on the 13th so hopefully will make a bigger dent in these old pictures and get up to 2004 at least!!

Hi I just have a question about the challenge. I have made my son a 6x8 book to use when we go to Disney in July does that count (its a spiral bound one from AC Moore with like 53 pages - we cut a few out that had been scribbled on) I have everything done except the picture and/ or character signature? If not, I did 27 complete with picture & journaling 12x12 pages this month. Michelle and by the way if it does count please give Spinning the prize cause I just stumbled across this thread today. I will be sure to find the May page and get myself added from the beginning rather then the end.

I have spent anywhere from $10 -25 on the challenge gift. Sometimes I throw in things of mine that I no long need or use. Last time I won, I bought a bunch of snow things- paper, stickers, fibers that were all snow related because is was Feb. I have received WDW stuff and things that have no relation whatsoever, so it doesn't really matter. I am sure whoever wins will like whatever you get.

I also need to add a few more pages. I am now up to 28. I also went to a crop last night and I need to journal a few pages and do some titles on the computer. No where near winning but I will have my mom's book complete for Mother's Day.

Wow that is a lot of work! What a great autograph book you will have! It really doesn't matter if they want to count those pages or not! The thrill for me is get the pages done! The prizes are just an extra special treat! So someone else can decide.

Ok I am offically done for the month at 65 pages! I think that is the most I have done in a long time. But I am totally caught up on both teacher gift albums :cool1: My DD school album and I am one layout short or I would be totally caught up on DS school album. But I need a few sheets of paper....
It is baby chick world right now. Both 1st and 3rd grade had chicks. SIlly me didn't buy enough hay and barn wood paper.....

I am at a big fat "0" for this month. My husband was in Europe on business for 2 weeks and with that said, pretty much put an end to my scrapping. I did get my scrapbook walkin closet set up however - so we will see what May brings. But our Disney trip is this month too! :banana:

Not bad for a month with DH here for two weeks, and well, a newborn baby to take care of! :flower: I'm quite pleased. And my stack of photos doesn't look so darn intimidating anymore either.

Spinning - thanks its such a cute book ! I started one for my daughter but she has since decided to have the characters sign tags and use the tags and pictures to make her 6x8 book when we get home. That is great on your total! Michelle

Kudos to everyone for April! I did nothing until this weekend, but theater season has backed off and this weekend I was able to scrap my little fingers off! :rotfl: Didn't bother to count Friday and Saturday but did start keeping track Sunday for the May challenge!

Congrats to everyone for this month. I went to a crop on Saturday and got 6.5 pages done. I was very disappointed in myself. I had scrappers block. Going to a mom and daughter crop on Friday at my LSS and hope to get my book finished!!!!!!

as for the Tag idea..I had bought some just plain white medium tags and some that come in a package with sticky back but then I didnt' like them so I got 2 card stock scrap packs from AC Moore and took out all the smaller size rectangle ones (they are maybe 5 inches long by 3 inches wide) and clipped them with a big binder clip and will just have the characters sign on the card stock and make tags when we get home usings eyelets, brads and stickers. My DD is pretty creative so she will have fun with that idea right now she thinks she is going to do a picture and tag per page but we will see.
