I was considering buying a season pass. Has anyone else done this and had it work out well. I would like to go to WDW every year with the kids. So my htought is if I do a March season pass then we will have to make sure we visit one week earlier the following year. If I am correct if you are going to the parks more then 8 days then this should be cheapier then buying 2 seperate vacation price tickets. Any thoughts?

We have had seasonal passes for the past 5 years. It works out great for us right now because DD is not of school age yet. So, we tend to go at times where the kids are still in school (school holidays tend to be during the blackout dates). Plus, the blackout dates tend to be during the busiest times. This way we avoid some of the crowds and the HOT summer weather. Also, these passes are still considered AP's so you get all the discounts and benefits that apply. HTH

I think you are talking about an Annual Pass. A "Seasonal" Pass is available only to Florida Residents and it is only valid about 260 days of the year. An Annual Pass has no blackout dates.

If you go to Allearsnet (http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/apass.htm) this page, starting about halfway down, gives all the benefits available to Annual Passholders. Especially going in March, you will find it advantageous on room prices to have an AP.

We usually get an annual pass. Calculate the number of days that you plan on going and compare the price to a 10 day pass (or the equivelent # of days that you will need). As long as you are sure that you will make it back within the year, the AP can be a great deal. We love using ours on the day we arrive and going in for a few hours at night. Also, on check out day we occasionally go to the park with early entry before heading home. We would never feel that we could do this on a hopper ticket because we would be wasting days.
